The newly launched CMAK (Combat Mission: Afrika Korps) and CMBB (Combat Mission: Barbarosa before to Berlin- combat mission: Barbarossa to Berlin) are two very good 3D war strategy simulation game, but due to the 3D interface and its relative complex commands menu so that they do not like the "close combat" CC series so popular. To make everyone not to miss these two great game, here I rearrange a guide for CMBB & CMAK.
The basic common sense
CMBB/CMAK is the World War II battalion regimental simulation game, where CMBB covered WWII Soviet battlefield many famous battles, and the battle of the CMAK is concentrated in North Africa, Sicily, Italy and the island of Crete, Germany and Italy Africa Legion servant will start with the Anglo American allied forces fighting.
CMBB/CMAK only Battle and Operation two game modes, where Battle is the length of a single battle, general according to the map size (Tiny, Small, Medium, Large, Huge) 10-60 is divided into rounds range. The Operation battle is also focused on a map (Large, Huge), composed of 3-10 stages, each stage of the battle about 15 rounds or so, after the end of the situation according to the forces pushing or defending decided the place of departure the next stage. Operation second stage from each stage will have the reinforcements arrived. Battle and Operation end will be according to the occupied both flag (similar to CC in the number of victory points, according to the size of each flag has different integral) and results to statistical points, more points to win.
CMBB&CMAK uses a semi instant half turn based system is unique, every minute is a round, at the start of every turn before the player to subordinate units issued various operational directive, once the command (GO), which entered the instant state of combat, each player pre up army according to instructions and players in action the 1 minutes to intervention force action, can only wait 60 seconds after the command.
